Art Rental

The Art Rental Program at the Vernon Public Art Gallery is an excellent and affordable way to enjoy original artwork in your home or office. Choose from a selection of contemporary and new media art by local, Okanagan artists. All works are original and vary in style, medium and size. The selection is regularly updated and available for viewing to all our guests. Choose from a wide range of subject matters including abstracts, landscapes, floral studies, photography, and sculpture. Prices for art rental vary, starting as low as $7/per month. Please view the Art Rental Catalogue here. The artworks in the Art Rental Program are available to rent, rent-to-own, or purchase, and any rental fees paid goes toward the purchase should you choose to buy the artwork. Proceeds from the Art Rental Program support both the local artist and the Vernon Public Art Gallery.

Selected works are available for viewing in the Gallery Shop. Come by to view our current selection, take measurements, or bring a friend or colleague to help make the right decision for you. If you have a special request for a particular style, size or subject matter, our staff would be happy to assist and make a special request from one of the many talented artists in the program.

A current gallery membership gives anyone the access to the VPAG Art Rental Program.  Artwork is rented for a minimum of three months and to a maximum of 12 months. The option to renew the art rental agreement is at each 3-month interval. At the end of a 12 month period, the artwork can be purchased or returned to the Vernon Public Art Gallery. (Art Rental may be considered a business expense – please consult with an accountant)
