At the Vernon Public Art Gallery, our mission is to connect Greater Vernon to the creative presence and possibilities within the visual arts through exhibitions and activities. For over seventy years, we have worked at creating quality exhibitions and dynamic programs for our community. As a non-profit charity, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Each year we need to raise approximately $80,000 through fundraising to maintain current operations and programming. Our goal for 2019 is to raise $81,500 and we need your help to achieve this. Money raised helps us provide Greater Vernon with diversified exhibitions, art education, publication of ISBN registered catalogues, and public receptions and events.
Remember that every donation truly makes a difference, regardless of size. Your patronage ensures we can continue to provide a valuable community resource that reflects the needs of the North Okanagan. All donations $20+ are eligible for a charitable tax benefit receipt.

Monetary donations play an important role in the operations of the Gallery. By pledging a monthly gift to the gallery you are able to contribute towards the daily operations of the organization. This includes but is not limited to the educational programs we offer schools and children, the preservation of our artworks, and promotion of local artists by hosting various exhibitions.
We welcome any monetary value you believe you can offer. As part of the community we recognize each individual’s unique financial position and we respect any donation you can supply. We have provided a template within the form that provides you with some donation options. You can choose to provide a monthly gift that spans 1, 2, 3 or 5 years. Additionally, you choose between donating $10/month, $25/month and $100/month. If none of these work for you and you still want to donate, you can choose “Other” and put in your own dollar value. Your contribution matters and aids community involvement and arts and culture growth, so thank you!
Charitable tax donation receipt will be issued for your cash donation. Cash contributions can also be directed to our endowment fund by request. Cash donors have the option to remain anonymous or be recognized in the VPAG Annual Report.

The success of the Vernon Public Art Gallery and our programs would not be possible without the help of our Volunteers. The Gallery was originally founded by volunteers and to this day we rely on the generosity of volunteers for their time and expertise. Our volunteers assist with the daily operations in the Gallery, they help at special events and fundraisers, and our Board of Directors and Facility Steering Committee are active business and community volunteers.
