Vernon's biggest alternative art party is back!

Hello Riot on the Roofers!

Last night, Mrs. Dr. Henry shook our world once again. Due to the new restrictions laid out for the Interior Health Region, Riot on the Roof will no longer be an in-person event.

We are so sad as we know how much everyone was looking forward to gathering for this amazing event and enjoying these last few days of summer.

That being said, we understand that the health and safety of everyone comes first!

You can still watch the musicians, a few of the artists and the Emcee, Freida Whales who will be participating in a live-stream through the Vernon Public Art Gallery’s Instagram, and Facebook pages tonight at about 7:00 PM.

You can also stop by the parkade today during regular hours from 9-7 PM to check out the beautiful new murals on the 1st and 2nd floors, and support the artists!

We will have a selfie wall outside the Gallery for you to come by and take a picture and share with the hashtag #riotontheroof

We can no longer sell tickets as the event won’t be what we hoped, but if you feel like stopping in and donating we really appreciate the support! Riot on the Roof is about promoting emerging artists and we hope that we can still show you some amazing talent tonight over those screens.

Thank you to our sponsors and supporters for everything: the Province of BC, A&W, Vernon Roofing, Nor-Val Rentals, and Record City.
